Though extremely unlikely there may be limited sensitivity to Previse. Minor break outs might be attributed to the following ingredients: Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate: Our radish root preservative is common to all Purify, Nutrify and Defend products. Bellis Perennis (Daisy) Flower Extract: The potent extract is common to all face Nutrify products. Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil: The hydrating extract is common to all Defend products, plus HydroBalm. Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil: The hydrating extract is common to all Defend products. Recommended action: Step 1. Try only serum & lotion, Step 2. Try only serum
We do not, will not, and refuse to even consider the idea of testing our products on animals.

Our Nutrify series does include wheat germ. Wheat germ in many forms does contain the gluten protein. When ingested gluten causes severe complications for those suffering from celiac disease. The research is inconclusive regarding topical uses of products containing gluten, however we erred on the side of caution. Our wheat germ has the gluten protein removed prior to use. However, we are compelled to share that a small portion of the extract may contain < 20 ppm gluten and meets the FDA definition of gluten free. The FDA goes on to state, “This level is the lowest that can be reliably detected in foods using scientifically validated analytical methods. Other countries and international bodies use these same criteria, as most people with celiac disease can tolerate foods with very small amounts of gluten.” The < 20 ppm is a food grade restriction. We applied these very stringent standards to our 5 topical product recipes.
So what does this mean? It means that whereas we are legally compliant, in complete transparency there is the possibility of an extremely low amount of gluten protein that could make its way into our topical Nutrify hyaluronic acid tonics. We have heard concern that there could be exposure to gluten if the formulary gets into the mouth. This is highly unlikely. Plus the extremely low level of any gluten that may be present in any one of our tonics should not pose a hazard to those with gluten sensitivity and celiac disease.
We maintain all Previse products in temperature and humidity controlled environments to help maintain product integrity. As part of our commitment to clients and patients, we produce in small batches and do not use harsh preservatives like parabens and phthalates. Our Dispensary Fee is a small charge to help us off-set some of these costs.
GMO (genetically modified organism)?
Previse formulas are free of GMO. We do not use GMO in our recipes.
How long will my regimen last?
When using your three-step Previse regimen as directed your supply will last approximately 90 days. Previse recommends the 1, 2, 3 step routine in the morning and evening.
Is Defend SPF rated?
Defend is the ideal barrier between your face and our increasingly harsh environment. While not SPF rated, Defend helps to prevent skin damage from sun exposure while aiding in the protection of skin cells, collagen density, and elasticity over time. Our ZeroSiliconeâ„¢ recipe is free of harsh preservatives, PEGs, phthalates, skin clogging silicones, petroleum, and synthetic oils.
Is Previse for men or women?
Previse is for women and men. We customize products to meet the needs of human DNA, not gender. Our recipes are designed to meet the specific needs of our client’s skin type, based on our proprietary diagnostic algorithm. We invite all guests to take their Personal Skin Care consultation to know their skin type and recommended three-step Previse regimen.
95% of our packaging is recyclable. All of our packaging comes from recycled sources and is always recyclable with the exception of the our Defend tubes. Our Defend tubes have an aluminum inner liner to protect the active ingredients in the formula from oxidizing. Without this oxygen barrier the ingredients would become useless in a few weeks. Our intent is to work with our scientists and packaging experts to develop a tube that has the same oxygen barrier quality that is 100% recyclable.

Thank you for asking. In June of 2011 the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that in 2012, products that have an SPF of at least 15 are the only sunscreens that will be able to claim they reduce the risk for skin cancer and protect against sunburn. Anything less will come with a warning. Currently, a label’s SPF only indicates how well it protects against UVB rays that lead to sunburn, not the UVA rays. UVA rays increase the risk for skin cancer. Previse has already started developing, and testing, a new formula with a minimum SPF of 20. This product will adhere to the FDA ruling to shield your DNA from UVA and UBA radiation to protect you and your loved ones from sunburn, sun damage, and skin cancer. Our new product will be labeled as broad spectrum, which legally means it protects against both UVA and UVB rays.
Sulfates in Previse?
No. Our recipes use Quillaja Saponaria Bark Extract to form a mild lather. Unlike the great majority of products available today, our low lather Purify relies on the presence of a glycoside saponin in the extract to aid in removing impurities from the skin’s surface
Three Minute Use
Previse is a simple process that takes only a few minutes to complete. Purify, Nutrify, and Defend replace any cleansers, lotions or moisturizers you use. If you have never used a skin care regimen, and the concept of following three simple steps is foreign, Previse has a surprise for you. We call our process Three Minute Skin Health.
Travel with Previse
All Previse packaging was designed for use at home or on the go! So take Previse to the gym, the office or on vacation. Just remember to use Previse twice a day and ideally first thing in the morning and again at the end of the day.
We have been asked about travel size products. At this time we do not manufacture petite sizes. We find that foil packs and other miniature containers are not suitable for Previse due to the nature of our recipes.
If you intend to fly, and carry-on your Previse, we recommend checking with the latest FAA regulations. Other than our 240ml / 8.10oz Purify bottles, your Previse containers should be permitted for carry-on.
Is your glycerin sustainable?
Yes! Our glycerin is kosher and sourced from sustainable palm oil.
All of our formularies are vegan. In the past we included honey in one of our formularies. The honey is secured through one of our research groups who study bee health in an effort to reverse bee colony collapse. In late 2017 the available honey is gone and we refuse to purchase from the open market where we do not know how the bees are treated.
It is worth noting that the bee colonies we work with are not harmed in any way. The honey we had sourced served as both a humectant and antimicrobial in our Purify Level 4&5. Even then we considered ourselves exceptionally vegan friendly as being vegan is an incredible discipline. It is a discipline our vegan clients are very passionate about. As a leader in plant-based skin care we always strive for botanical and other natural ingredients in our pursuit to preserve our biosphere.
